Victoria State Rose Garden rose

Victoria State Rose Garden is a place of peace and beauty.

A huge array of over 5,000 roses occupy the garden beds in the shape of a Tudor rose.

The plantings include bush roses, climbers and standards. Festoons, arches, pillars and pergolas are used to further enhance the gardens design and to show the magnificent blooms to best advantage. The new Heritage rose border includes old style roses from all around the world.

From November to May the blooms in all their glory offer a brilliant contrast of colour across the landscape whilst the heady perfumes wash a romantic aroma through the air.

The State Rose Garden is located adjacent to some of Werribee’s other major attractions including Werribee Park Mansion and the Werribee Open Range Zoo.

The roses are nurtured and tended by a team of more than 100 dedicated volunteers.

Location: K Rd, Werribee (at Werribee Park)

Opening Hours:  9:00am - 5:00pm everyday.

Admission is Free.
