Point Cook Homestead

Point Cook Homestead Rd, Point Cook, Victoria, 3030

The original home of the wealthy Chirnside family, the Point Cook Homestead was built in 1857. Explore the historic homestead, picnic in the grounds overlooking the bay and wander through the old bluestone barns for a look at the home of the first Caulfield Cup winner, Newminster. The equine connection continues today as the grounds of the Point Cooke Homestead are home to several retired CUB Clydesdale horses.

For more information on Point Cook Homestead and the Point Cook Coastal Park, visit the Parks Victoria website.
