Established in 1974, the Footscray Community Arts Centre is a leader in contemporary community-based art and a place of excellence where artists and communities come together to create, experience, and enjoy art.  All of the activities at the Centre offered to the public are free or at low cost.

Footscray Community Arts Centre works with communities and artists to produce community focused arts activities. This involves developing arts projects; presenting programs, workshops and events; supporting the development of community-focussed arts activities by individuals, groups and organisations; and hiring out the Centre’s spaces as venues for workshops, conferences, festivals and other events.

The centre overlooks the Maribyrnong River, and offers amazing river and city views. There's also a cafe at the centre which is a great place for a bite to eat, or a relaxing coffee on the centre's lawns.

Opening Hours: Tuesday - Sunday 9:30am - 5:00pm  (closed Monday)
